Questions about washing a car with SamPay
Can I wash multiple cars registered to me on one account?
Currently, only one vehicle can be stored per user.
Can I also use another, second mobile phone to select the sink?
Your data is always stored with your personal phone number. Therefore, it is not possible to link an unlimited washing offer with another.
How to find out what car washes are offered in my area SamPay?
To do this, simply call up the map in the application. Available stations are displayed immediately.
Please note that we need your consent to determine your location.
Can I also use SamPay abroad to wash my car?
Of course, you can also use EasyCarWash abroad. Just use the app to check available stations.
Can any type of car be washed with the program?
Please note the signs indicating the maximum height and width on site.
Can I use SamPay to wash my car outside of business hours?
We cannot make a general statement on this matter.
This depends on local conditions and legal requirements.
Details can be found at the relevant station. Your operator will be happy to advise you.
Can I use my current subscriptions at all participating SamPay stations?
No, you always book a subscription with one car wash operator. If the operator has several stations, this will be reflected in the SamPay application. If you are not sure where your subscription is valid, contact the relevant operator.
Problems and solutions
What happens if the license plate cannot be read?
If your number plate is not readable, you can start the wash manually in the app on the start page of the relevant operator. To do this, click "My laundry won't start" and follow the instructions on your phone.
What if I have a new car/number?
The license plate will be blocked for one month. Example: If you sign up for an unlimited offer on August 1st, the license plate will be blocked from the first use for the duration of the unlimited offer. From next month (with automatic renewal), you can enter a new number plate again if, for example, your car has changed. We do this to make the system as secure as possible.

If you have any questions or problems with the application, please contact the relevant operator. They will be happy to help you.
If my cell phone battery is dead or the phone is playing: does that mean I can't wash the car?
SamPay requires a working mobile phone and internet connection. If there is neither one nor the other, you will not be able to wash the car.
Payment and cancellation
Can I cancel my subscription at any time?
Yes, you can unsubscribe at any time. If you cancel the subscription during the period, you can of course use it until the end of the booked month.
Can I buy a one-time wash instead of a fixed price?
The SamPay application also allows you to conveniently buy disposable sinks.
Do I get an overview of how often I'm right, or is there an overview of in-app purchases?
The app provides you with a detailed overview of all purchased laundry.
Just call up the menu and click on "My laundry".
Please note: if there is no activity on your profile for 12 months, your personal data will be deleted.
You will be informed about this in advance.
How can I get a laundry receipt?
Very easy. After each laundry purchase, you will automatically receive an invoice in the application in the "My laundry" menu.
How do I top up my credit?
You can top up the credit for washing in the "One-time washing" item.
Please note: this feature is not available on all stations.
Can I change the unlimited wash option during the term of the contract - upgrade/downgrade?
Of course. You can change the ordered unlimited number of washes at any time. If you decide to upgrade to a higher level program, you can use it immediately. You will only be charged the difference between your current and new unlimited wash option on your credit card. If you choose a cheaper unlimited wash option, your current offer will be valid until the end of the month, after which a new and cheaper unlimited wash option will be automatically registered for you.
Can I buy one wash despite the option of unlimited washes?
You can also purchase a single wash, despite the option of unlimited washes.
The size of the single rate remains unchanged, and additional costs for individual washing are charged.
What happens when my top-up credit is used up?
When you top up your credit, your credit card is debited once, and then the invoice amounts are gradually debited from your credit balance.
If you have used up all your credit, you will be notified in advance.
If the credit balance is no longer enough for one wash, the full amount will be debited from your saved payment method.
Are there any hidden costs?
There are no additional costs for you.
I use my car for work - will I receive an invoice recognized by the tax office?
We fulfill all invoice requirements according to the German Value Added Tax Act (§ 14 UStG).
What name does the payment appear under on my credit card bill?
Your credit card statement will show the name of the operator you purchased your laundry from.
How can I pay for laundry?
Laundry charges are charged to your credit card (MasterCard, Visa, etc.). Fleet cards cannot be used for payment.
Can I use my reserved WashWallet Value at all participating SamPay stations?
No, the cost of WashWallet is always booked with one car wash operator. If the operator has several stations, this will be reflected in the SamPay application. If you are not sure where your WashWallet is used, please contact the relevant operator.
Data protection and privacy
What happens to the images from the cameras?
The license plate recognition camera does not store any information about the license plate images taken. However, for the safety of the participating operator, a photo of your vehicle will be taken inside the car wash, which the operator (and only the operator) can use to identify potential fraud. However, this only happens if we can detect suspicious behavior.
Is my credit card information secure?
Of course. Credit card data is encrypted according to current security standards and cannot be viewed by the operator or anyone else.
